The Junta de Andalucía will invest 4 million € in the first Andalucian “ecopark”
After three years, the government of Andalucia has approved the creation of an “Ecopark” in the surroundigs of San Pedro de Alcántara. It will have an extention of 9.5 h and will ve called “Los tres Jardines”.
It will have tohusands of plants, sport areas, walks and paths. But apart from all these, one of the most interesting parts of this project is the one concerning the self-mainteinance of it. The use of alternative energies, rain-water, hi-tec watering systems, etc. have also been pointed out. Also, the government has announced that any suggestions and ideas provided by the citizens will be very welcome.
There will also be several kinds of gardens (Andalucian, Arabic, Mediterranean, etc.) and among others, a great recreational area for kids.
